Spades ring spacers flanges are the spectacle flanges with the spades and rings free from each other. They are not joint together so that they are fitted separately. The ring or the spade is applied to a pipe at any given time. When the connection needs to be in an open position to allow the fluid flow, the ring is inside the connections and when the connection needs to be closed, the ASME B16.48 Paddle Spacer is inside the connection.
Spades ring spacers flanges
The paddle spacer has a radial handle and is mostly used with a paddle blind. The Paddle blank flanges are useful that they could be handled with ease when applied with paddle spacers. The Paddle Spacer and Blind have a paddle or groove in them that accepts the pipe into it so that the pipe is held together by the ring or spade when one of them is in place. This allows for better grip of the flanges on both occasions; closed and open.
The SS ring spacer can be made up of different material grade stainless steel and the Spade paddle blank can come in different sizes and pressure capacities as well. The applications are typically in the petrochemical, petroleum, oil and gas and the pharmaceutical industries.
