ASTM A350 LF2 Flanges

ASTM A350 LF2 Flanges are low temperature forged flanges. These are used in pressure vessel services and in pressure applications at low temperature ranges. These flanges are used with a gasket in between two pieces of flanges for better sealing of the connection. The flange faces could either be bolted or welded depending on the application requirements. The SA350 Gr LF2 cl1 Flange and class 2 flanges are used in applications differently. There are different types of flanges that fit the purpose and functionality.

The A350 Lf2 Blind Flange is used to close a pipeline. The flange would be added to the closing end of the pipes and terminate the line. These are useful when one end of the pipe has to be opened and closed. The A350 LF2 Class 2 Pipe Flange is made up of a material that has chromium, nickel, vanadium and niobium in its chemical composition. This makes the flanges of this grade to be stronger and corrosion resistant at low temperatures under high pressure.

The LTCS Pipe Flanges have 485 – 655MPa of minimum tensile strength and 250MPa of minimum yield strength. The A350 LF2 welding neck flange has a neck welded onto it so that the connection is much stronger and firm at the welded joints.
